We provide resources and quality educational materials to
families and child care providers.
The First Steps Resource Center is a lending library of educational
materials for parents, child care teachers and directors, students
and faculty at Northeastern Technical College and other professionals
who work with the children of Chesterfield County.
Office equipment—such as a computer, laminator, copy
machine and paper cutter—
and plenty of space facilitate the creation of inexpensive,
handmade materials. The Center is staffed by an early childhood
professional who advises and shares valuable information with
caregivers, educators and parents.
The First Steps Resource Center is made possible by our partner,
Northeastern Technical College and is housed at NETC.
