Make a financial investment in Chesterfield County's future

Chesterfield County First Steps is pleased to be an affiliate of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.  The Imagination Library, was launched in 1996 for preschoolers from Dolly's home county of Sevier, Tennessee and in 1999 the program was expanded to allow communities nationally and internationally to replicate her program.  This unique program provides a book per month for all children between the ages of 0-5 years for an average cost of $30.00 annually.  For Chesterfield County this is about 3,000 children.  With the potential to enroll over 3,000 children, First Steps needs contributions from individuals and businesses.  Please consider giving the gift of reading today by completing the donation form below. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization, and all contributions are tax-deductible. We welcome any amount that you can give.

To sponsor a child, please submit the donation form and send a check, money order to Chesterfield County First Steps.

If you choose you may sponsor a specific child (such as your grandchild or son/daughter). Please complete a Child Enrollment Form for each child.  You will find the form below.  Please note the $30.00 donation will sponsor a child for 1 year.

If you are unable to make a donation, but would like your child to participate, please complete a Child Enrollment Form below for each child and we will place your child on the waiting list.
